My Longevity Centre in London was founded with the mission to deliver integrated, evidence‑based longevity, preventive and private general practice medicine. As a practicing doctor for over 10 years, I have seen first hand the increasing demand for health solutions that go beyond the traditional medical care and focus on improving our healthspan and general wellbeing.
Lifestyle medicine for example, while it may seem basic and common sense, unfortunately common sense is not common. Furthermore, it’s one thing knowing and another thing doing. Even if we know that we need to get 7-9 hours of sleep per night, exercise regularly and eat healthily, few of us have the discipline to adhere to form healthy long term habits.
This is why we are excited to share our partnership with The 100 Club. As one of the founding members, we have devised this pioneering programme designed to help people adopt and sustain the habits that drive long-term health.
3 Pillars of Better Health
We focus on three main pillars of success in health:
- Biomarker Testing
- Coaching & Accountability
- Evidence Backed Strategies
The 100 Club supports participants in mastering the daily habits that matter most. Each week has its own theme, ranging from nutrition (including supplement choices) and sleep to stress management, movement and environmental toxins. It’s a programme that aligns closely with our philosophy at My Longevity Centre: that prevention, empowerment, and personal responsibility are the cornerstones of better health.
The 100 Club is suitable for anyone interested in a “taste of longevity” and joining as a founding member is an excellent way to put medical advice into practice with structured support.
While we provide the clinical insights, assessments, and tailored medical care at My Longevity Centre, The 100 Club takes it one step further and provides the community and accountability to help those recommendations turn into lasting change.
What biomarkers are we testing?
As part of the 100 Club program, we test the following 29 markers that play an important role in future health. Furthermore, we then focus on optimising the values and creating a personalised plan, rather than settling for a ‘good enough’ target.
Iron & Inflammation
-
CRP (C-Reactive Protein) – Checks for inflammation in the body.
-
Iron – Measures iron in the blood, needed for energy and red blood cells.
-
TIBC (Total Iron Binding Capacity) – Shows how well your blood can carry iron.
-
UIBC (Unsaturated Iron Binding Capacity) – Indicates how much extra iron your blood could carry.
-
Transferrin Saturation – The percentage of iron actually bound and available for use.
-
Ferritin – Reflects your iron storage levels.
Kidney Health
-
Urea – A waste product; high levels may signal kidney problems or dehydration.
-
Creatinine – Checks kidney function and muscle breakdown.
-
eGFR (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) – Calculates how efficiently your kidneys filter blood.
Heart & Cholesterol
-
Total Cholesterol – Overall cholesterol in your blood.
-
Triglycerides – A type of fat linked to heart disease risk.
-
HDL Cholesterol – “Good” cholesterol that protects your heart.
-
HDL % of Total – How much of your cholesterol is protective HDL.
-
LDL Cholesterol – “Bad” cholesterol that can clog arteries.
-
Non-HDL Cholesterol – All harmful cholesterol types together.
Liver & Proteins
-
Total Protein – Measures all proteins important for body functions.
-
Albumin – Main protein in the blood, reflects nutrition and liver health.
-
Globulin – Protein group involved in immunity.
-
Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) – Enzyme linked to liver, bone, and bile ducts.
-
Alanine Transferase (ALT) – Enzyme showing liver cell health.
-
Aspartate Transferase (AST) – Enzyme reflecting liver and muscle health.
-
Gamma GT (GGT) – Enzyme linked to liver health and alcohol intake.
-
Bilirubin – Breakdown product from red blood cells, linked to liver function.
Vitamins
-
Vitamin B12 – Important for nerves, energy, and red blood cells.
-
Vitamin D – Supports bones, mood, and immunity.
Thyroid Function
-
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) – Controls thyroid activity.
-
Free T4 (FT4) – Main thyroid hormone affecting metabolism.
-
Free T3 (FT3) – More active thyroid hormone, influencing energy.
Diabetes Marker
-
HbA1c – Shows average blood sugar over the past 2–3 months.
