Unsure where to start with red light therapy?

I’m Dr Nicholas, GP and founder of My Longevity Centre and I just purchased the Mito Red Light Mitopro 300+. In this video I am giving my honest opinion on red light in general and also this specific device.

Planning to use it for 8-10 minutes every other day for 8 weeks targetting my face and I will then do a follow up review with results. In this video I also talk about the science behind red light therapy and what red light and NIR (near infrared light) wavelengths are the ones with most evidence behind them.

Remember to use the goggles for any direct and prolonged red light and NIR light exposure as we just don’t know the effects of long term exposure on the eyes (although some studies have shown that it may even help dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), particularly in its early stages!). However, adequate eye protection is still recommended for now.

The mitopro 300+ covers the 630nm, 660nm, 830nm and 850nm,DisclaimerI’m a UK-licensed physician, but this video is educational and not personal medical advice. Always consult your own healthcare professional before starting any therapy, especially if you’re pregnant, photosensitive, or managing a chronic condition.
