Privacy Policy for the “Longevity One Tip of the Day” Chrome Extension

1. Introduction

“Longevity One Tip of the Day” (the Extension) is developed and published by My Longevity Centre Ltd (“MLC”, “we”, “us”). This privacy policy explains what information the Extension handles, how it is stored, and the rights you have under UK data-protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

2. What personal data do we collect?

None.

The Extension is designed to operate entirely offline. It does not:

  • access, transmit or store your browsing history, URLs or search queries

  • collect your IP address, device identifiers, location data or any other personal information

  • use cookies, localStorage or tracking pixels for analytics, marketing or profiling purposes

The only data written to your browser’s local storage is a single flag that remembers whether you last left the tip card “expanded” or “collapsed”. This flag is non-identifiable, never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by removing the Extension or via Chrome’s “Clear browsing data” dialogue.

The Extension requests no host permissions and therefore cannot read or modify data on any websites you visit.

4. External links

Clicking “About My Longevity Centre” (or any other external link) opens a new browser tab that points to mylongevitycentre.co.uk. Once you leave the Extension, MLC’s main website privacy policy applies, including its use of standard web analytics and cookies.

5. Your rights

Because the Extension processes no personal data, most UK GDPR rights (e.g. access, rectification, erasure, portability) do not arise. If you believe this statement is incorrect or you have any privacy-related concern, please contact us using the details below.

6. Changes to this policy

We may revise this privacy policy if we:

  • add new functionality that could affect data handling, or

  • are required to do so by law.

Any change will be reflected on the Longevity One Chrome extension page with a new “last updated” date. Major changes will also be highlighted in the Extension’s Chrome Web Store changelog.
